Come out of the blue
January 30, 2006
I studied a new idiom, come out of the blue, by chance last Saturday. It's interesting ! It sounds similar to Japanese idiom, 青天のへきれき(せいてんのへきれき - seiten no hekireki). And they have the same meaning ! The meaning is unexpected surprise, right ? Though there are so many differences between English and Japanese, they have a lot in common. I always get excited whenever I find such interesting things in English.

I'm glad you find English so interesting. I take Japanese at school in the US and love studying such a different language.
