Let sleeping dogs lie

I've just studied an idiom on the Internet. It's "let sleeping dogs lie". Sounds interesting ! In Japan, we have very similar idiom to that. It's "let sleeping babies lie". I suppose this Japanese idiom has the same meaning of the English one. Amusing !

Hello. I read this article with interest. Needless to say, there're tons of cultural differences between Japan and other countries, but there're some same things, too. When I started studying English, I was really surprised at differences, however, recently I'm often suprised at something same.

Studying another language is the same as getting hosts of opportunities to come into contact with a different cultures. For me, that's amusing and amazing ! :-)
