Error when senling emails to "au" users

email error from au

I'm sorry for posting new articles for a long time.

It doesn't mean that I was busy. I'm just not good at time management. X(

Now, my English school "GiTec" often email the school's students various information.

Since we developed the emailing system by ourselves, it's customizable and useful to manage the school.

However, some errors sometimes occurred when we tried to email those who use "au", which is one of famous Japanese cell-phone carriers.

That didn't always occur, and we could send emails properly sometimes.

I tried to figure out the cause for the errors.

In the result, I realized that there is a high possibility of the errors when the emails include some URLs.

I'm not a "au" user, so I don't know the details of the cause. The errors seem to occur, if the impersonation-setting or something like that in the spam-email setting sets in higher-level, and when when the emails include some URLs.

When you have such kind of problem as above, I recommend that you should check whether or not there are any URLs in the email.

I appreciate your reading until the end of this article.

Many things instead of working in my factory

folklift

I haven't worked in the fiber-recycling factory of my family business since this February.

I had expected things would go easy, but that proved disappointing.

Whenever I have spare time, I tend to make new things to do by myself.

I guess I don't know how to relax. haha

Since there will be some more things to do everyday, such as translation of various information and upload them on the Internet, I haven't relaxed enough as before.

Instead of working in the factory, I have used computers much more often than before. Therefore, the sore eyes bother me these days.

In addition, I don't have much appetite because of no getting physical activity so often.

I actually used to eat twice as usual people.

In a sense, the current lifestyle might be a healthy dietary life.

Let me do something against luck of exercise after I finish the current translating work.

I appreciate your reading until the end of this article.

"Wedding Ceremonies in front of stations" If I were a worker of a railway company

Wedding in front of stations

When I was reading a newspaper or something like that, I thought that there are so many styles of wedding ceremonies nowadays.

For example, Japanese Shinto(in front of Japanese god) style, Buddhist(in front of Buddha) style, and Church style.

There's a bit strange style, "Wedding Ceremonies in front of people."

So, I came up with an idea. I think that the reason I came up with the idea is thanks to managing an English conversation school in front of Izumisano station.

That idea is "Wedding Ceremonies in front of stations."

if this idea is applied to Izumisano, Kishiwada and some other stations,

The ceremony will be taken place at the open space in front of the station when the weather is fine.
The ceremony will be taken place in the station yard when the weather isn't fine.

I mean, it will be possible to have all-weather wedding ceremonies.

Of course, the stationmaster will act as if he or she is a priest.

The merits of this idea are as follows.

- Activation in front of the stations will be expected.
- Since the invited guests can come only by train, they can have alcohol.
- If the wedding receptions and the second parties will be had at the restaurants and bars in front of the stations, the events will contribute to their sales.

What it comes down to is that the stations and the shopping areas in front of stations will become more active.

However, I guess there will be some walls to achieve this idea.

Since I have the nature to write articles whenever I come up with new idea, I wrote down this blog article.

There might be such a railway company like doing this idea, though.

I appreciate your reading until the end of this article.

The 9th anniversary of Izumisano English School "GiTec"

The 9th anniversary

It has past 9 years since I opened an English school "GiTec" in front of Izumisano station. So many people who live in Senshu area(Izumisano, Kaizuka, Kumatori, Hannnan, Sennan, Misaki, Tajiri, Kishiwada, Izumiotsu) come to GiTec to take English conversation lessons. In addition, the faraway cities are Wakayama, Iwade, I think.

I really appreciate all of the customers, native English teachers, and Japanese receptionists from the bottom of my heart.

The anniversary of foundation is March 2nd, but we had the 9th anniversary party on Sunday March 5th.
The picture above was taken during the party. The party place was "Hale'aina", which is the Hawaii style restaurant and Bar very close to "GiTec".

We hadn't had any parties that all the teachers could attend because some teachers couldn't make it. However, we finally had a party that they all could take part in, so I was super happy.

One thing I felt sad is that one of Japanese staff couldn't come.

I will have a big party next year with all the staff because it will be the memorable 10th anniversary.

Let me devote myself in order to celebrate the 10th anniversary.

I think I'm so lucky to have such an experience.

I appreciate your reading until the end of this article.

How many articles have I written on my blogs?

one of my lod blogs

When I was thinking about new ideas to write articles on this blog, it came to mind how many I have written on my blogs. (^^;

I started writing blogs when I was 40 ant restarted leaning English. That means I have an experience of a blogger for 14 years. I have used so many kinds of blog services, I haven't used "Ameba Blog", which is probably the most famous one. The number of the blog services I have used 7, including my English blog - such as Seesaa, Yahoo, Blogger. Is that too many? :D

I haven't counted the number of articles on each blog, but there are about 330 on my main blog. Simply 7 times the number over 2000, but there shouldn't be such number articles. The main blog is the biggest one, so I guess the total number is under 2000.

I'm impressed by the long-term experience.

Anyway, I feel that I could improve my English skills by writing blog articles in both English and Japanese. In addition, my writing skill in Japanese would be better. Since I would often write documents when I was a section chief of Research and Development Department, writing lots of documents in Japanese wasn't tough for me. That's why I wasn't disincline to write blogs at all.

Getting older gave me such a chance to benefit from the experience, I think. I mean getting older isn't demerit for people. In the old days, one of former world heavyweight champions, Mr.George Foreman, said like, "Growing old isn't a shame."(I'm not sure if this quote is correct or not.). That must be true.

I will have some more experience with managing an English conversation school in Izumisano city and an fiber-recycling factory in Sennan city for years to come. I bet I'm so lucky. :)

I appreciate your reading until the end of this article.

Suggestion to Nankai Railway

Izumisano station

I have made a suggestion through the Internet to Nankai Railway before as below.

"Only the English signboard of Izumisano station is lighted up. I think the Kanji signboard should also be lighted up since there are so many Chinese tourists."

I'm not sure this suggestion worked out well, but the company had lighted up the Kanji signboard for a while.

However, only the English signboard is lighted up now.

I guess the reason is as follows.

If Nankai decides to turn on the Kanji signboard of Izumisano station, the cost won't be so high.

On the other hand, Nankai can't turn on only the Kanji signboard of Izumisano station, so they might have to turn on the Kanji signboards of all stations. Which means the cost will be so high for the company.

In the result, I guess Nankai decided to light up only the English signboards of all stations.

In my opinion, lighting up the Kanji signboards would be better because this is Japan.

The atmosphere around Izumisano station seems gloomy by lighting up only the English signboard.

Since I manage an English conversation school in front of Izumisano station, I hope the atmosphere around there will be more brilliant.

What do you think about it?

I appreciate your reading until the end of this article.

New Laptop

new laptop
[Notice:注意]
The English edition doesn't necessarily correspond to the Japanese one.
必ずしも英語版と日本語版は、一致しません。(^^♪

Since I'm very busy at the factory and preparation for a new English school that's going to be opened in March. So, I decided to buy a new laptop because the previous one died last year, in order to make some documents in my factory's office when I have some spare time. To be honest, I wanted to buy a "MacBook Air", but I couldn't wait for the release, so I couldn't help but to get a Windows laptop instead. Actually, it was my first time to use Windows Vista. How short today's diary is.....

English Friend Comes to my favorite bar

I have some foreign friends who we got to know each other in mixi, the most famous SNS in Japan. Yesterday an English friend of mine came to Izumisano city to meet me in person. Actually, it was my first to meet my foreign friend in mixi. Then we went to the bar I often go to in front of Izumisano station. Some of my Japanese friends and an American friend also came there. I had a really great time thanks to them. The English guy took a lot of pictures in the bar, such as the mistress and us. He looked younger than 30 years old to me but apparently older than 30. Anyway, it's the most exciting thing for me to meet interesting people all over the world. That's exactly why I study English now!

mixi(日本で最も有名なSNS)で知り合った外国人が何人かいます。

Charger

Since I often use my cell phone very often these days, the battery sometimes dies. Actually, I often check emails send to my PC email address with my cell phone and access mixi, the most famous and popular SNS in Japan, when I'm out. That's why it sometimes dies, besides I use it as not only a phone but also a dictionary once in a while as well. So, I bought a charger to bring the battery alive anytime anywhere. I can use the charger with two size AA batteries. It sounds convenient, huh?
