"Wedding Ceremonies in front of stations" If I were a worker of a railway company

When I was reading a newspaper or something like that, I thought that there are so many styles of wedding ceremonies nowadays.

For example, Japanese Shinto(in front of Japanese god) style, Buddhist(in front of Buddha) style, and Church style.

There's a bit strange style, "Wedding Ceremonies in front of people."

So, I came up with an idea. I think that the reason I came up with the idea is thanks to managing an English conversation school in front of Izumisano station.

That idea is "Wedding Ceremonies in front of stations."

if this idea is applied to Izumisano, Kishiwada and some other stations,

The ceremony will be taken place at the open space in front of the station when the weather is fine.
The ceremony will be taken place in the station yard when the weather isn't fine.

I mean, it will be possible to have all-weather wedding ceremonies.

Of course, the stationmaster will act as if he or she is a priest.

The merits of this idea are as follows.

- Activation in front of the stations will be expected.
- Since the invited guests can come only by train, they can have alcohol.
- If the wedding receptions and the second parties will be had at the restaurants and bars in front of the stations, the events will contribute to their sales.

What it comes down to is that the stations and the shopping areas in front of stations will become more active.

However, I guess there will be some walls to achieve this idea.

Since I have the nature to write articles whenever I come up with new idea, I wrote down this blog article.

There might be such a railway company like doing this idea, though.

I have to work in my factory from today, but unfortunately my wife hasn't woken up yet. She seems to be still in the New Year holiday. I mean, I have to be off to work without having breakfast. Holy shit!
I can't complain because I work for her, I mean, I don't work for my kids and global environment. Since my factory belongs to a kind of recycling industries, I can't work too hard for the earth. I'm proud of my work as a way to fight against global warming.
Umm... today's journal is too short, isn't it? (^^)

今日から、仕事に行きます。でも・・・嫁さんは未だ起きてこない。寝てるし・・・どうやら、まだ新年の休暇中と思ってるみたいやね。つまり、朝ごはん無しで、仕事に出かけなくちゃいけないってこと。なんてこったい・・・(ToT)
まぁ、不平を言うことはできませんね。ヤツのために働いてるんじゃないから。ワシは、子供のため、そして地球環境のために働いているのです。私の工場は、リサイクル産業の一種で、地球のためにどんなに働いても、働きすぎということはないのです。地球温暖化と戦う一つの手段として、私は私の仕事を誇りに思います。
う～む・・・今日の日記は、短すぎるな。(笑)

今日は、親戚の娘さんの結婚式のため、大阪市内に出向きます。大阪はあいにくの雨模様ですが、若い人の門出を見るのは、とても新鮮な気持ちになるので、年寄りの私にも良い気分転換かもしれません。(笑)

ところで、私が通っている英会話スクールのNOVAは、昨日、社長を解任し、「会社更生法の適用」を申請しました。1ヶ月以内に支援企業が見つからない場合は、破産手続きをするそうです。仕方ないですね。既に支払った私のレッスン料がどうなるか不安でもありますが、それ以上に外国人の先生達・日本人スタッフの方々の生活が心配です。彼らになにかしてあげることはないか、日々頭を悩ませています。もちろん、それは私の仕事ではないけど、先生達と一人の生徒という関係以上に、とても仲良くなった人もいるので、何かしてあげたいのです。一番よいのは、私自身が新しい英会話スクールを経営する、というアイデアかもしれませんね。(^^♪ 土地と資金は、なんとかなります。一番の課題は、その運営と内容でしょうねぇ。事業計画をまとめる時間をなんとか作りたい。日本の諺に、『災い転じて、福となす』というのがありますが、そんなにうまくいくわけないですよね。(^_^;

I'm going to Osaka city today in order to attend a wedding reception held for a young lady of my relatives. It's a pity it's raining in Osaka now, however, it will make me feel fresh to see a departure of the youth, so it would be a good change of pace for old me. :D

By the way, an English school NOVA, at which I sometime take English lessons, removed the company president and applied for "assistance under the Company Resuscitation Law" yesterday. If the company can't find supporting organizations within one month, they will commit an act of bankruptcy. It can't be helped. I'm anxious about my lesson fee already paid but really worried about non-Japanese teachers' and Japanese staff's livings more than my money. I have been considering what I can do for them everyday. Of course it's not my business but I made friends with some of the teachers, I mean, the relationship between us isn't only the one between teachers and a student. That's why I'd like to do something nice for them. It might be the best idea to manage a new English private school by myself. :) I guess I can prepare the fund and the land somehow. The most important issues would be how to manage and the contents. I want to make the time somehow to write up the business plan. A Japanese proverbs says "Wazawai Tenjite Fukutonasu", that means "to turn the potential disaster to one's advantage", "to turn a misfortune into a blessing", or something like those, however, the new plan would never go well like that. :p

My brother and I have finally hired a new employee lately. The new face is coming to work from next Monday. Since he has some experience to work in the recycling industry that my factory belongs to, we expect him to make an immediate contribution to us. If he lives up to our expectations, we'll be able to have more spare time weekdays. I'd like to read English newspapers or something like that. As a result, I could improve my English skills and may be able to have fun with my foreign friends a lot... I really hope so, but that depends on how hard he works in my factory. :)

Do you like taking phone calls? Actually, I hate doing that while I'm working. Of course, it's OK with me that my business partners make calls to me anytime, but most of the calls I have to take in my factory tend to be from salespeople after accessing my factory's web site such as persuading me to make a better web site with them. Since I used to be a capable(maybe...) computer system engineer, I've already implemented SEO(Search Engine Optimization) into it! In addition, the cost they offered me are mostly ridiculously high! I don't need such silly presentations! I have no idea why they contact me by email. Don't bother me any more! Ah... I must have a short temper...

Shape up or ship out!

An employee in my factory often drives me nuts actually, so I often tell him, "Shape up or ship out!" However, apparently, he doesn't have the intention to quit his job. In Japan, it's quite difficult for company representatives to fire their employees.
Actually my brother and I are struggling to make ends meet, therefore we can't afford to hire new employees so far. But, the recent profit of our factory has been going up, so we'll be able to dismiss him soon for neglect of duty. To be honest, I'm looking forward to getting rid of him from my heart. Go fly a kite!

Some of my customers always tend to be modest to me, although I'm just one of suppliers for them. But they ask me unreasonable demands sometimes, so I don't think that too modest business people count for a great deal in business these days. Since there are tons of orders from all of the clients, I might have to make a choice, I mean, I'd like to deal only with good business partners. On the other hand, my factory's business scale is quite small, therefore, we need to deal with as many companies as possible for a rainy day. Um... quite difficult to decide...

My Factory on Textbook

Two years ago a publisher emailed me if it's OK to list the contents of my factory's web site on a textbook for Japanese high school students. The company was planning to publish a textbook that mentions recycling industry so that students can learn social skills. Of course I replied to him it was my pleasure.
I'd forgotten the email for a long time but he sent me the printed textbook yesterday.
Great! I'm so glad to look at the pictures of my factory on it. The fact doesn't bring me any money, however, I'm very excited now!

Ranking Second

When you google with a keyword in Japanese related to a recycling industry my factory belongs to, my factory's web site comes up as the number 2 or 3 on the result list. But when searching with the keyword on the search engine provided by Yahoo! Japan, it used to be ranked as the number 20 or so in spite of the SEO I implemented into it. Actually Yahoo! Japan search engine is more popular than Google in Japan. Therefore I've been considering how to make the web site rank up for a long time.
Today I tried to check its ranking on Yahoo! Japan. I was so surprised at looking at the result because it was ranked as the number 2 although I haven't done anything special. I guess that the system has been changed recently. I've just realized that's why we've got many emails lately.

I got an email from the States today. He sent the email to my factory's email address. Apparently, he is looking for recycled chemical fiber all over the world. Even though my factory's web site written in Japanese, he found it out after googling with some keywords related to his industry. If I could build my factory's web site in English, we would be able to get much more orders from other countries! That sounds like a dream though. :) In his email, he is asking me to send him a pound of sample including the cost. That's a great surprise! Ultimately, I decided to refuse his request. Since my factory is very small, we haven't exported our products so far. His request seems to be above our products' quality as well. Let me send him a reply email written in English to give a polite refusal right away. But I don't have the confidence to tell him exactly what I want to say because I'm still a fledgling English learner.
